Sample Primitivo of the highest quality DOC - Primitivo di Manduria. 100% Primitivo grapes from bushes grown in the traditional "Alberello" way are harvested exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place on the skins for 25 days and then the wine matures for 4 months in oak barrels. The wine has a dark ruby color and a typical aroma of ripe fruit and spices. The taste is rich, structured and balanced with soft tannins.
No heavy wine, but a full complex taste of plum jam, cherries and blackberries in their refreshing form. Modern Primitivo full of energy from the youngest vineyards owned by this winery. Due to its fruity ripeness and residual sugar, we rank it among semi-dry.

The wine is a blend of Blaufränkisch, which matured for 23 months in several small, medium and one large oak barrel. The aroma features notes of crushed cherries, blueberries, cocoa and almonds. The taste is significantly of cherry pit, which is the true character of Blaufränkisch from the Blue Mountains. The long aftertaste of the wine is complemented by the aroma of oak wood, which gives it a spicier touch in the form of liquorice, cardamom and cinnamon.
